Dams
A dam is the mother or female parent of a litter of puppies. In the dog breeding world, female dogs can be called by several different names. We use the terms “dam,” “mother,” and “mama” interchangeably as Pomsky breeders, with “dam” being the most proper version we use. Here are our current Pomsky mamas:
Caiti is one of our “homegirls” born and bred here at Smoky Mountain Pomskies. Sarge was her sire, and Jedi her dam. She is a great combination of both her parents! Caiti possesses a funny personality and loves treats, belly rubs, toys, and her babies. Caiti’s first litter was in January 2022, and she is a natural mother, being attentive and nurturing.
Katniss was bred, born, and raised here at Smoky Mountain Pomskies, the daughter of Moana and Mowgli. Her beautiful face hides her mischievous personality; she is a stealthy squeaker surgeon—no toy is safe with her around. Katniss has a calm demeanor with her puppies and is conscientious of their well-being and care. She also has a blueberry addiction and will do anything you want if you offer her a few berries!
Pumpkin is another of our “homegirls,” daughter of Sarge and Phoenix, and full sister to Phoebe but much larger. This beautiful red girl with green/amber eyes is one of the kindest girls in our pack. She never met a stranger and loves all her friends. She loves toys, belly rubs, and chasing the kids around the yard when they play. Pumpkin has not had a litter yet, but we will be breeding her soon.
Andi is an adorable little Pomsky, only twelve pounds. She is mama to our toy to miniature Pomsky puppies. Andi is the daughter of Raven and Sarge. She has a gorgeous rich chocolate coat and piercing blue eyes. Andi loves to play, she loves kids, and she is obsessed with toys. She started having litters in late 2023.
Fiona is a beautiful chocolate female with a rich coat and beautiful eyes. She is one of our standard sized Pomsky mamas and usually has puppies in that size range. Fiona is a good girl, she loves her puppies, is great with kids and other dogs and she loves toys.
Winnie is the daughter of Mimi and Apollo. She is a fawn sable and carries for dilute, lavender, sable, and black and white. Winnie is a fun girl with a big personality! She loves toys, people, bones, and her buddies. Pumpkin started having puppies in winter 2023. She is a great mother, very calm with her puppies and attentive.
Posey is the daughter of Katniss and Apollo. She will be old enough to be one of our mamas in the winter of 2025. Posey is a sweet girl with a gorgeous chocolate coat and blue eyes. She loves toys, bones, marshmallows, her mama, and is very intelligent.
Apple Dumplin is a lavender Pomsky girl with gorgeous blue eyes, the daughter of Apollo and Fiona. Apple D (her nickname) is a fun girl who loves to play. She is best friends with Missy and you rarely find one without the other. Apple D will be mama to our standard line of Pomskies beginning in fall/winter 2025.
Missy is an adorable black and white female with piercing blue eyes and the cutest personality, just like her mama, Phoebe (retired). Missy will be one of our new mamas in the summer of 2025. She loves toys, playing outside, bones, her best friend Apple D., kids and people. We are so excited to continue our toy/mini line from Phoenix and Sarge and Katniss and Leon through sweet Missy.
